If you are locked in a room, where nothing can get in or out...?

Imagine you are locked in a room--NOTHING can get in or out of this room that you are in.

Then, bear with me on this oddity, you decide to take a bath. You let the water run into the tub (I guess it's a bathroom--this is not a question I made up) and then you go to turn the water off. Only the handle breaks off in your hand and the water keeps flowing.

In this scenario, how are you going to keep from drowning in this locked room??

**My friend was asked this question as extra credit for a U.S. History test, and got it wrong. He asked it of me, and I came up with a similar answer, which his teacher had called "retardedly analytical." I just want to see what answers are given on here.

There were multiple answers submitted, and the controversy between them was what made me want to ask this.

Update 2:

We are left to assume that you were already in the room before it was sealed.

    If nothing can get in then no water should flow into the room. Even if nothing can get in except water then you'll be alright because if no air can escape the room then the air pressue will build up inside the room till it's the same at the water presure and the water stops flowing.

    First of all if nothing can get in or out, how would I have gotten in the locked room? But to answer the question, there is nothing to do if nothing can get in meaning including water

    A lot of people already said to pull the plug. I see that as a reasonable and also logical answer.

    Also, there is usually slight cracks under the door, so water could leak through the opening (crack) under the door.

    You should ask why did you go in there to began with. lol Then ask;

    Every room that has water running allways has a drain; or a place to exit.

    Dont forget if oxygen can get in the room, then water can exit it.

    If nothing can get in you don't have to worry about drowning b/c water can't get in the room in the first place.

    Nothing was stated that the room was empty so i will just put on the mask with the air tank sence the room is full of the air tanks and extra masks!

    i would pull the drain plug myself. lol that way the water has to run down the water pipes and not keep overflowing if the plug had still been on the tub.

    That was a movie called "The drowning pool" they plugged the drain up and couldn't get it unplugged. They had to float to the top, and break a window.

    If nothing can get in...how does the water?

    Any floatation devices in the room?

    If the air can't escape...there will be an air bubble near the ceiling....it'll get stuffy fast tho

    If nothing can get in you don't have to worry about the water. You be long dead due to lack of oxygen way before you die from drowning.
