It is a very very good phone.
Great 3.2MP Autofocus camera with Xenon Flash and with red eye reduction.
Great MP3 player and the folder arrangement and playlist creation is better and more user friendly than the Nokia N73.
It is not symbian OS. which means, yes, you get less 3rd party software and downloads, but that also means, the phone doesnt lag between applications as much.
You have expandable memory slot in the Micro M2 stick.
Plug and Play USB. ie: your phone becomes a hard disk drive.
Good quality and build finish.
It has radio.
It has Blue tooth and infra red.
It has 3G, quand band.
It is not that big and so fits well in your jeans.
Go for it. You will be pleasantly surprised.

wow, here's a collectors item. the phone definitely is one of the best in the market and it definitely has (for me) the best 3.2 megapixel camera in the market. the xenon flash is also very bright and helps when taking pictures in dark places. also, i can vouch for the colouring of the pictures on a k800i is so realistic.
the sound quality is good sony trademark stuff, not the loud stuff you'll get from a nokia. it's mild quality.
the design is very sleek and i can tell you it looks better than it does on a screen. you'll adore holding it.
it's also got bluetooth, infrared, 3G, EDGE and all, making connectivity quite easy.
and speaking of easy, the k800i is a very user friendly phone. not heavy and still packed, it's just an awesome phone and i'll certainly reccommend it anyday anytime, cheers.
Source(s): neighbour uses the phone and even he agrees with me that it's better than the nokia n80. - 1 decade ago
Its bigger and heavier than say the w810i, and there is no optical zoom even though it sells itsefl as a super camera phone. Also it takes a new type of MemoryStick format which you will need to pay for.
But it is very sexy, and if you need the feature set then it does very well for itself compared to similar offerings from Nokia, say.
