i'm emo/goth sure there's a distinction and that i'm a mix of the two... My dad calls me emish, i'm waiting for that to capture on haha... Emos are large the type rocks alongside with the flavor in music and clearly emo is created by using confusing lives or pasts whether, this would not propose we are consistently unhappy and depressed we do smile!!

An Emo is someone depressed/dark or suicidal. From what I've seen and read, they are teens with no love for life, no appetite for it. They see it as one dark abyss if I remember correctly. If you look for the emo song that'll answer some questions. It's making fun of emos.

According to my 12 year old daughter an Emo is someone who dresses like a goth, but is very emotional.

Emo is emotional music. It is like sad songs but not necessarily to do with black but if you are said to be emo you are a bit emotionally depressed

Was thinking the same too! Especially with clothes on eBay labelled as EMO... Sob I am only 29! :(
