38 Weeks pregnant, any ideas on how to control my emotions?

I am sooo emotional. I cry over everything. My friend killed a spider and I cried because I felt bad. Everytime I leave the doctor I cry because things don't seem to be going anywhere. Any ideas to help get my mind off of things?

HA! there is no way. I have to say, if you are feeling emotional, the best thing to do is accept it and let yourself cry if you have to. don't fight it. You are almost done so let those tears fall. Once you have the baby you will be so exhausted for the first few weeks you will WISH you still had time to sit around and cry.

I probably sound like a broken record, but do try to get as much sleep as possible right now, because soon you won't have any time. good luck and congrats.

You are fine you are going through and emotional state right now. I too was the same with my 2 year old. Keep focused on the fact that soon you will have a beautiful baby instead of crying try to focus on that joy. I know that even made me tearful too.

    You are fine!

Try to keep your self busy and focused on getting everything lined up for the baby. I know that it feels like you are preg. forever....been there 3 times. Make sure you let your doctor know, because emotions now may make post-partum harder.

  • Nice warm bath (it'll take the pressure off). Sleep.
