i have a .22 mag/.22 Lr (interchangeable cylinders) revolver that i bought for my wife. she loves it. we use the .22 LR cylinder all the time in it. its a fun little revolver to shoot, and you can shoot all day for $5. as far as defense/security goes, a .22 is all a person needs. if you've ever looked down the mean end of a revolver you know that a .22 looks like a howitzer. that's usually enough deterrent, if i had to shoot someone i feel confident that a .22 hollow point in the gut would hurt enough to slow them down.
