These are some of our family's ideas ( we have 2 fairy "experts" on staff)
If your hair is long enough, you can pull it back, pin it up, and sprinkle it with a little glitter, or if you are feeling very brave, powder it (Do NOT use flour as it turns to paste and stays on your scalp FOREVER- we know this from experience!) put some light foundation and sparkles and lots of blue eyeshadow on, and very light/white lipstick if you have it. For clothes, white or blue shirt, blue skirt and white shoes (I know, it's after Labor Day), then if you have some white posterboard, you could make small to medium wings and use an exacto knife to cut out "snowflakes". You could also make small paper snowflakes and safety pin or stitch them on your clothes, or you could find cheap crocheted Christmas ornament ones and use those. We live in a rural area, so running to the store is not an option, but they have gauzy wings at most stores with toy depts.
The experts reccommend tying light blue/white ribbons and/or tinsel around your wrists, and making a wand involving a silver or white snowflake at the top, with a little tinsel around it.
If you have access to play silks, they can be added around the waist or tied into a headdress for a fairy effect.
have fun at school!

All you need is a piece of cloth wrapped around you and some wings plus a wand!!!!

you have that silver tinsel stuff from a christmas tree? use that - hook it around your elbows and let it fall down your back from there. actually, it doesn't need to be silver - blue as well. if you have any of those really thin little bits, wrap them into your hair or stick them on your clothes.

White sparkley makeup and lots of it! Look icey... I suggest doing upper and lower lids with white sparkley eyeshadow, maybe if you have it a shimmer powder, and a very nude but glossy lip gloss.

Nothing like planning.............some random thoughts. You could trim with cotton wool (to symbolise snow) or thin rolled tin foil (icicles) or fake fur (warmth)......you should have wings, I guess, but you've prob left it to late to make any.
