It will be hard but muster all of your strength and just ask him out.

The worst thing that can happen is he says no. If so he can't see what a special person you are and does not deserve you.

Don't bother asking him out, because he might turn you down and then you will become sad because your expectations were not met. So instead, just offer him nice words or a good smile. Send good vibes out from your heart and wish that he is always well. Because unless you cultivate loving kindness for him, he will never like you anyway or it will never work out between you. Then if he doesn't reciprocate with your kindness, then it was never meant to be anyway.

But others will see what a great person you are from how you treated that boy, and the right person will approach you.

Find out what he is interested in. Talk to him and let him talk about what he likes and ask questions about that stuff. Just let him know that you are interested, but not stalkerish...and eventually you'll have a date!
