I like Charlie Christ. He was great during the Hurricanes that we had, he went after price gougers with a vengeance, he also backs the FCAT's which forces teacher to teach our students. What a concept eh? I would have preferred Gallagher, but Christ is a great 2ND choice in my mind. I'm sorry we are losing Jeb, he has done a fabulous job for the state of Florida. My biggest issue right now with the state of Florida is with the Insurance companies and I want someone to bring the hammer down on them hard. What they are doing is criminal. The insurance companies are what is killing the real estate market.

The best man of the two candidates is Charlie Crist. He has a ton of experience and has served as head of several State Agencies. He's an able administrator. Davis' dealings are shady, to say the least. He was a State Legislator at the same time that he was a paid lobbiest. I think he's easily bought & paid for, and we've had enough crooks in Florida government.

According to the letter I received from Charlie Crist he is against amnesty for illegal immigrants.
And will work to make sure Florida law enforcement have adequate resources and clear authority to assist Homeland Security to keep those criminals out of our State and Country..
I just wish he'd say that in his literature or on T.V.

Whoever is picked will not speed the recovery of real estate values in Florida. But perhaps it will curb corruption. I think one should change parties in the State House every so often, or that we risk given away our wealth to the crooks. Not to mention entrenching that notorious democratic (small "D") deficit = lack of public accountability.
