By your name I take it you are an Indian.
It is really sad that you do not know any thing about our national anthem and you call it most popular song.
At least I am happy that you used the word popular to describe our national anthem.
Thank God for the small mercies.
And God save India from Indians like you.
The most popular song you are talking about was written by Sri Rabindranatha Tagore and it was sung for the first time on 27 th Dec 1911 at Kolkatta ( calcatta) during the annual conference of Indian National Congress.
and it was officially recognised as national anthem on 24 th Jan 1950.
And please note as an Indian you are suposed to know your national anthem by heart and the same should be sung within 52 seconds.
And if you have even slightest of pride left in you please learn the national anthem first and then any thing else.
Count your self lucky that you were born as Indian in India.

ITS NOT A SONG !!!!! ITS THE NATIONAL ANTHEM OF INDIA!!! Rabindranath Tagore wrote the anthem. He was the first India to have won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Its so bad, being an Indian you don't know India's national anthem.....

It's Rabindranath Tagore who wrote Jana Gana Mana......!Actually it was sung by him to welcome the Emperor on December 28,1911.Later it was regarded as National Anthem.
