Need help on proper etiquette?
I invited a class mate to come with me to a big library that had historical things inside and is like a museum. If we go we get extra credit. Should I pay for her admission and lunch or what is proper?

The right thing to do is to find out how much admission and lunch is likely to cost and then decide - have you asked your classmate because you are interested in her for more than just her mind.............or have you asked her as a friend/studymate? If it is the former - then you should pay - because I guess it is like a date. If it is the latter, then you should go dutch - because you are both struggling students....unless you can afford to pay the admission for both of you...in which case you should pay the admission and then each of you pay for your own lunch. Hope that clears it up for you - have a good time!

It is okay to pay for a friends dinner and ticket provided that it is a gesture of friendship and not looked into as more than that. If it makes you feel uncomfortable then have Friend pay own way.

Maybe just pay for her admission, or just see what she does when you get there does she reach for her wallet?

admission no, she is getting the extra creidit to, but lunch you can always offer, just to be polite
