I have a daughter who is now 17 years of age. I had gotten custody of her by paying her mother a cash payment instead of sending it to her through AG's office. I knew it would be considered a gift but i just wanted my daughter, her mother is a drug addict and dancer/stripier/alleged hooker. I got the child back and heard the most horrible stories that my child went through. I called cps and made a report and contacted local police and filed a report for child abuse. I was told by AG's office to file a affidavit of possession and had it notarized and gave to AG's office. I also went step further to protect my self and file a SACPR (suit affecting child parent relationship) and had the mother served by local constables. She was served and paper was filed. fast forward to three months ago. I had enrolled my child a local public school and I went to pick her up one day and I waited and waited and she never came outside. I went into the school and she was no where to be found. I immediately call the police and they instructed me to go to police station because I was very upset. I went down there and during the interview the mother finally called me back and i told her i was at police station because i could not find our daughter. She informed me that she had child and she was not returning her. I let her talk to police and they said since mother had her it was a "civil matter" and I would have to take it up in civil court. Well i went back up to the school and they told me the mother showed up with extremely old papers and said she had custody and they let her withdraw her out of school, and leave without even a phone call to me after I had made it very clear NO ONE was supposed to have access to my daughter that was not on her info card on file at the school. I finally got my daughter back and now she is no longer in school and pregnant. I also found out that on the day that she went missing that the students in transition counselor was hiding clothes in her office for my daughter, and on the day she left the counselor took child in the morning to another town in her own personal car with out my knowledge or consent to pick up mother and bring her back to the school and have her withdraw her, and not once did anyone ever call me. Well after being with her drug addicted mother for no more than two weeks the mother went onn binge and threw my daughter out and my other daughter located her living on streets, now she is safe with me but she is pregnant and I feel that if the teachers and counselors had done there jobs and followed there own rules and protocols that she would still be a high school student and not pregnant, because when she was with me I made sure she had birth control and stable environment to live in. Now thanks to there actions and lack of action her life is forever changed. I want to know if I have any rights or can they just do what they feel like? I got really sick after daughter left and was in hospital for one week. Any help would be great. I am not trying to get rich, i just feel like they acted unjustly.

I had "physical possession" and had filed suit affecting child parent relationship. I enrolled her in school and listed who could withdraw her and her mother was not listed. The child was skipping school and was caught so she called mother told her she wanted to move back and mother went to school and withdrew child, school did not call me or email or nothing. I called school and they said "she had very old custody paper" and they let her withdraw her. She has now living on street and with friends again and not attending school and has 19 yr old boyfriend. I sit and feel like my whole life has changed due to the school not following there own procedures.

My father recently had a massive heart attack. While in ICU his doctor asked his wife for a med list from home. She gave him what his doctor had been giving him. She omitted that she had been getting sample meds from his sister in law who works for a doctor's office and they had been giving it to him. They ran a tox test on him and we still don't know what they gave him. I recently just found out all this information but I am clueless in where to start. Do I call the police first and file a complaint. Do I call the medical board against the doctor because he didn't have his samples scure. Do I call the Board of Nursing about the CNA? Please help! I feel maybe they were giving him the meds on the side to get to his estate.

My Dad boought a 2nd home. When he first bought it my step sister lived in it for around three years, and moved out. I have lived in the home for three years going on four. They house has been paid on time and there has never been equity taken out of home or any leins placed aginst it. My Dad wants me and wife to take over house and get it out of his name. he doesn't want any money for it. So can I do a quit claim or do i have to find a real estate agent? Will he have to gift me the equity? Can i use the equtiy to scure new mortage. Thanks for reading any help will be greatly apprciated.

My grandmother just bought a car, and she got a poor deal, I think she got robbed. She is 80 years old and this was her first car she ever bought. Her finance charges and fees are outrages. I live in it already and we have 7 years of equity in the home, it has never been refin. and the equity has never been touched. My dad says he doesn't want anything for it, and that I can have the equity. We pay our mortage payment to him and he sends it to his mortage company. So how do buy it from him and get the equity for home repairs and have the deed put in my name without getting burned? I mean i don't know anything about real estate so I don't know who I can and cannot trust. How do I find the best deal and what kinda loan am i looking for? I live in tx so anybody got a clue?
