Does anyone else have issues w/ Comcast?

I am so furious I could spit nails....the folks that work for Comcast are just stupid, I apologize if anyone reading this works for Comcast but I have just had it with their "customer" service. I received my bill last month and no kidding I was charged $13.99 for a Free Preview, my bill says free pre-view but yet they charged the $13.99. I called was told "will fix that, you've got a $13.99 credit" my husband, went to pay the bill today and low and behold the credit does not appear. When my service was installed it took them three (3) weeks to burry lines in my back yard. two weeks to get me a DVR box that worked. I'm ready to switch to a dish, we live in an apartment and have to pay an extra deposit to have a dish but I'm starting to think it's worth it...any other frustrated Comcast subscribers? Comcastic? Yeah right, more like Craptastic! I had cable, internet and phone service through them and it was the worst experience with customer service EVER!

My story is way too long to share here, but I will say this...they are NOTORIOUS for charging customers for services they did not receive, lying to their customers, belittleing their customers, etc. Their customer service and technical support staff are not properly trained, so they are little of no help when you call.

I will NEVER give my money to that company again.

Go with Dish! It is well worth the extra cost!

I totally know what you mean. We got comcast digital cable about a year ago and have been having problems ever since. Our On Damand was never "on damand". Every time we wanted to rent a movie or watch any of the free features our T.V. told us that there was no service or that there was a communications error. Once while we were watching a movie we had to pause it and it never unpaused. we had to call comcast and in the end we had to disconnect the tv in order for it to go back to normal. Three times we had comcast out to our house to fix the problem. The first time they didn't do anything . This last time they seem to have fixed it but we'll see. I'm right with you. One more thing and i'm ready to get a dish.

funny because we had comcast before and we never had any problem with them until crappy time warner took over. those guys are a bunch of incompetent bozos. every billing period, out bill goes up for some strange reason. with comcast, we always had a constant bill. time warner also took away our encore on demand. they scramble the stations like every other week. sometimes, our cable and internet goes off for a whole day. and whenever we call to complain, we are always met with some idiot speaking jibberish. we are waiting for our next bill. if it goes up again, its adios to time warner.

i really don't know why comcast is screwing up in your area because we never had any problems with them.

I hate my Comcast Cable...the list of issues could go on and on.

The biggest was that when their installation subcontractors drilled multiple holes in my floor that was newly carpeted. I told them before they started they had one shot to get it right before the started drilling. They ended up paying me over $500 for a room of carpet.
