Is there a program that can convert MP3 to WMA?

I have a new cell phone that can play music but only in the WMA format out of some agreement with Microsoft apparently. The program for converting the audio can be for Mac or PC. I'd prefer something freeware.

    Yes, windows media player will convert those and also wave files from cds

    You can use "convert movie 1.1", it can get the audio files out of videos or change the audio format of audio files, it is an excellent program, you should get it.

    Try Wave Pad. I know it supports a lot of formats - WMA may be one of them.

    Yes Windows Media Player can do that.
