I had the same problem!! They are both my two favorite sports. The year before this year i just decided to play both but that was alot of work. I decided to play volleyball because all of my friends were playing. I took a year offf from soccer because i found it more tiring but I missed it. But then again i really enjoyed volleyball it was awesome.. i would go with volleyball!! good luck

I would choose volleyball, just because I don't really like soccer, and I love volleyball. But for you, the question I would ask yourself is this, "Which one is your favorite?" Or maybe, "Which one do you love but you don't get to play it often?" Pick whichever sport you think is best for you. For example, If you really like one of those sports and your not very good at it, than, you might want to choose that sport that your not very good at, so you get better, and you can learn more about it. Most importantly, make sure you have fun, in whichever sport you choose. Good luck at tryouts for which ever sport you decide to tryout for.

In my opinion I will pick volleyball. Volleyball is a quick sport were you have a great time playing. If you better in volleyball take the chance and play it. Ok . Hope you have a great season.

Go for both. They're both great sports and either will keep you in tip top shape for the other. Hopefully, in your district, the two sports don't overlap. If they do, go for volleyball. It's a tough sport, but the conditions are more controlled than soccer. You won't get rained on, muddy or kicked in the shins!

I had to pick between volleyball and field hockey....i chose volleyball because i loved that sport the most. And the bonus....you never have to worry about playing in the cold, rain, or snow!

I personally woud choose volleyball. Its not so intence and Its alot of fun spiking the ball in the other teams face or feet. :)
Soccer, my other love, is fun too. You can score goals or save them. But there is alot of running involved so if u r not a good runner, I wouldnt pick this.

Try for both.
There's enough time after school to play on two teams. Just make sure you keep up with your studies. If you get anything less than a B, cut back to one sport.
No one is going to remember how athletic you were in high school. You will live with your career for the rest of your life.

If they don't start at the same time try-out for both if not i'd choose volleyball because it's more fun it's agressive and fun at the same time, o and you don't have to run a lot too! :) It really depends on which one you're better at.
Source(s): me i'm doing soccer , but i would so choose volleyball over soccer - mernieincLv 41 decade ago
depends on how big of an impact you want to make on the team.. soccer is more players.. but volleyball is more team oriented.. less players smaller field.. i coach volleyball but that doesnt make me biased.
