I put a copy of a dvd in the computer at work and now its stuck. How do I get it out? It wont open?

do you see a little hole in the dvd drive or the cd drive? use a paper clip or something that will fit and poke the hole and the cd will force to eject the disc out

First, pull up "My computer" on screen, go to the drive letter for the drive, right click to get menu, click on "eject".

If this doesn't work, see if there is a small hole in the front of the drive under the tray, (most newer ones have this). If so, push a stiff wire, (a straightened paper clip will usually work,) straight into the hole. It will meet some resistance, push harder. This will "unlock" the tray manually so you can open it and remove the disc.

Report the malfunction to the appropriate party.

WHY are you playing DVD's at work anyhow, unless you're a reviewer.

if pushing the drive button won't work, go into my computer, right click on the dvd drive, and choose eject.

if that doesn't work, turn off the computer, look for a small hole on the drive itself and stick a paper clip into that hole. that will force a mechanical ejection. after it sticks out a little, pull the tray open with your hand and take the disc out.

shut off the pc. there be pin hole just under the cd . door . push a clip in that and it will open
