Well just talk about your interests and find things in common. You shouldn't have to worry too much about what to say because I'm sure he's curious about you too. Just Don't ask about past relationships. Watch Blind Date, you can learn a lot. :)

Don't watch Blind Date on TV for ideas. It's good entertainment, but they mostly act like buffoons on that show for exposure. I know this will sound boring but stick with being yourself, ask loads of questions and don't worry about sounding nosy. People are always flattered when you take an interest in their lives as opposed to being a windbag who only talks about him/herself. Once you find some common interests, the conversation will flow.

Be honest. Talk about how nervous you are. Tell them that you have never done this before and they better feel special. Ask about brothers and sister (they are usually pretty safe topic). If anything, LISTEN when they talk. You will be able to pick it up from there. Stay relaxed and just be yourself. The flow will come if you have chemistry. If not, have a plan to have fun anyway.

Believe it or not, I met what turned out to be my husband on a blind date!
If you are going on the date with another couple, that could be a lot easier to "break the ice" with your date. If not and it is only going to be you and your date, ask him lots of questions about
himself (guys love to talk about themselves)! What kind of work
he does, does he have brothers and sisters, does he like sports
and what kind of sports, what are his favorite foods and places to eat--some answers will undoubtedly make you think of other questions to ask him. A great one to really find out where his head is: If you were given $5 million dollars, tax-free, what would
you do with it?
Good luck and have fun!!

Just relax and be yourself. Talk about sports, movies, anything you would talk to a friend about. You can ask about her work or school and find out what you have in common. I met my husband on a blind date, so you never know. It might be really great.

Talk about something general first ... you know, like hobbies, what kind of music you both like, movies, where you grew up, where you've travelled (or would like to someday), current issues, etc
DO NOT TALK about this:
1. Past boyfriend
2. Past sex experiences'
3. Money matter
4. Strong religious issue
5. Strong political issue
Other than that, just be yourself, be a good listener, and be a good talker too!
Have fun and good luck!

Just take the prsure off yourself by telling yourself that it's a one-time thing. Be yourself and play it by ear. Just let conversation happen...you're making it to hard. Have fun. If it works out, great. If it doesn't, it's just for a few hours.

Depending on where you go, once you get settled at a table or ?,
Maybe your date will say something first, then you can usually go from there..........Ask the person about their job, and what do they do...........How long there..........Have they been to college, do they want to go................Or will they get good training at their current job................Do they live in the area or another city..............Any siblings?,,,,,,,,,,,,,Just make small talk about anything..........When they reply and are done, you can maybe relate to what they said, then tell them what ever it was..Good luck.........Blind dates aren't as bad as people think... have fun.
I would always be on guard though with anyone......

be real, just pay attn./listen to what stupid things he says 1st, then answer. you will know then if u still want to be with him. or u can ask, what does he want to be when he graduates, if he has a job, gf, kids. what are his hobbies? if it's cars or football, know less time for you...if cars he
ll spend all his $$$ on it then u.

Ask about them and let them talk people love to talk about themselves. You will learn weather you like them or not from that. Most people worry about what to talk about when they should listen more.
