Hi, I want to buy a good computer, Which brand would you recommend, Dell, Gateway, HP, or other, thankx?

    out of them 3 brands ,i would reccommend the gateway ,because they have always been known for using high end components

    As someone who repairs computers I get more Gateways and Emachines brought into me than any other brand. Dells and HPs definitely have less problems.

    I'd generally recommend an HP computer because Dell only uses Intel Processors which often come with crappy Intel integrated graphics. HP is more likely to have cheap computers with decent graphics built in. Either way, both are pretty solid brands. HP also has a great website for customer support.

    hp- are verry good , if you do buy hp computer this is how you set up your system recover cd's

    TO SET UP THE SYSTEM RECOVERY CDS

    DO NOT REMOVE THE HP-ROCOVERY FILE ON THE

    HARD DRIVE OF THE PC NEVER REMOVE IT

    click on start /all programs

    in the list go to pc help & tool

    then click on

    hp-pc- recovery tools-cd

    noW click on

    creat the recovery tools cd

    use a cd(r) disk ...to creater the pc tools cd

    then click next

    and wait for it to creat a

    system tool recovery cd

    do not stop it at all

    when the system tools

    cd is created your have

    a system recovery tools

    cd- this cd will reinstall

    all the software that came with the pc and

    now coz we have reset the software it will

    restall the software that is on the pc and

    reinstall windows xp home and set it back up

    windows xp will be reinstalled and set back up

    hp-pc-tools cd

    this just reinstall's the software that was on the

    the hard drive at the time you buy the pc it will also

    hp-pc-dvd revovery creater cd

    click on start /all programs

    in the list go to pc help & tool

    then click on

    hp-pc- recovery creater cd

    use a dvd (r)disk .do not stop this till the .hp-recovery .creater cd's have been made.then your have your .hp-recover creater cd's

    what.hp-creater cd's do

    hp-pc-dvd revovery creater cd

    use a dvd(r) disk

    to create the revovery creater cd

    you will have 2 options

    options 1: to just install the windows xp & the software that was on

    the hard drive from day 1 without for mating the hard drive

    options2: will format the hard drive

    and reinstall windows xp

    & install the software that was on the pc from day1

    HP are pretty good but if you're looking for a computer that's good for design and stuff like that go for MAC

    Well, I would go with Dell for best performance, but overall (price and quality), I would go with HP.

    I like Dell. The one I have now is an E-machine and it makes more noise than my old Dell.

    Build your own if you have any experience opening a computer, it is suprisingly simple. In addition you can buy superior components at a fraction of the cost.

    gateway laptops are pretty good, ive had one for 8 months or so, im happy with it.
