Why lemon tree is losing leafs?

I have a potted dwarf lemon tree that I brought indoors two weeks ago. The tree has started shedding leaves. It is watered and next to a south facing window. The leaves are still green . Can anyone help explain this. thanks for your help

    I think moving it shocked it and it will be fine. My lemon trees do not drop lots of leaves in the winter. The old leaves get leathery.

    During the Fall the leaves on all tree's starts to fall off. It's

    normal, every season this happens. And by spring it'll start

    growing back.

    Might be too much water. Make sure it is getting pleanty of heat on sunshine. if it is in a pot make sure it is not pot bound. Citrus generally do not loose leaves seasonally.
