sims 2 pets... where to buy collars?
in the new sims 2 expansion pack entitled pets... where can i buy collars for my pets? at which community lots? the tutorial says go to a community lot... but which one? i have all the expansion packs except for glamour life.
I adopted a dog that didn't come with one. How do I get one for him?
nevermind- figured it out- you're both wrong- you can purchase collars... you have to put the buildings that came with the expansion pack in your town and visit the pet store... then you can buy a collar!

MegStatic is correct, although you can also obtain collars (and nifty skins and outfits) for your pet by unlocking Pet Career Rewards. Each reward is given when your pet gets promoted, though they are selected randomly.
On a side note, when you unlock one of these Rewards, you also unlock a code. These codes can be used in other The Sims 2: Pets games (and can even used for the console version, though they have to be "translated" for the console format--this can also be used vice versa) to unlock the Rewards without having to get promoted again. I'm sure before long these codes will be posted online to be used by other players worldwide. I personally haven't unlocked any of these Rewards, yet--I'm getting the info from the Prima Official Game Guide.

You can't buy them, u have to make the pet with a collar on. If the pet doesn't have one then theres nothing u can do!!
