Publishing help?!?!?

Does anyone know how you would go about publishing a book?

Where to find a publisher?

How much does it cost?

Does a percentage of your sales go to the publisher?

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated! (Especially people who have gone through the process already :)

    I've checked into this myself and from what I've read and understood of it, you almost have to have a literary agent to get one.
