How can i format my IMATE pocket PC?
Its a german version and i need to format it so i can change it to English. Could you guide me on how to format it and get it done again so it could be changed to english.

You need to follow whatever on its official website about "flashing" your ROM. This flashing work must done according to the official words or you risk turning your PDA into an EPW (expensive paper-weight).
Suspect that the machine is locked in German language ROM; at least that's what I found with my iPaq in my attempt to flash in a Chinese ROM to an English machine.
Learn rudimentary German to be able to operate your iMate in that language.

you must download the English firmware and update new rom version while in bottloader mode
