Expected Mileage for f-250 Crew Cab???
I want to buy this Ford Crew Cab XLT and it has the Triton 6.8liter V10 engine. This is not diesel, so what should I expect to get per gallon?

This review of the 2001 Ford Excursion SUV (which uses that same engine) says to "expect 10-12 mpg."

I have a 2005 f250 crew cab and a 2006 regular cab f250, both with the 6.8. The crew cab is an automatic and it gets around 13-15 MPG with mostly highway and interstate driving. The Regular cab has a manual and gets a whopping 15-17 mpg under the same conditions. These are both farm pickups, I recomend a Volvo XC 90 If you need 4WD. It comes correct and you a lot more play and much better gas mileage!

I remember an old boss having one of these, that I never saw on the road. If I remember correctly, he said it got about 10 mpg.
It was a beautiful truck, but I would only buy the diesel

The F-250 is a work horse. I found a web site dedicated to all the Superduty Ford Trucks. http://www.fordtough.net/
