How to move names into groups on yahoo messenger?

Right now all my friends are listed under the group "Friends". I want to make seperate groups for family and stuff like that. I have the groups made but I don't know how to move the names from the "Friends" area to the new groups without just deleteing and readding the names. I've tried to click and drag them and that doesn't work! Please help!

OKAY----what you do first is right click the group "friends" and click "create new group". then you create your group. it should say "group (example) 0/0" right-click that and you should see "add contacts." there you go. have fun!

Messenger places the communities in aphabetical order, so which you may might desire to arise with some resourceful names...or use the action picture star score A B C and so on... To organise your checklist, pass to contacts, set up contacts, create team, then you definitely can click and drag people into each team you create
