Rituxan chemo and hair loss? Info to help my friend:)?

My friend has been doing Rituxan for chemo and also taking Cell-Cept 1000 mg/day and is having issues with hair thinning and scalp pain. She won't lose all her hair (Rituxan does not cause complete hair loss like most chemo), but her scalp hurts her a lot. Does anyone know of any shampoos/treatments that will help the pain in her scalp?

My advise would be get a topic pain reliever from the doctor. There are a ton of different ones, what ever the MD likes the best

Usually approximately two wks after the primary therapy. I had shaved my hair off myself. While it wasn't lengthy it used to be very thick & I simply did not desire to manage that bit. It veries, all, a few lose. But I determined it start developing again among remedies too & it used to be the historic hair that got here out with the following therapy. now not the brand new hair. I had four remedies & that is the way it went with every. By the time I completed I had a humorous hair reduce. four extraordinary growths. I took approximately two monthes earlier than I would get it reduce. & a few cuts to straighten the mess out. Funny factor is that new hair grew like wild hearth for approximately 6 mos. I wanted a reduce each four wks. & it used to be tender. Been a year. now I have all my hair again as thick as ever.I used to be happy to get it again too, consider me.
