How is the PRAXIS? Is it difficult, is it like the SAT? If You made 1000 on the SAT would you more than likely

There are many different PRAXIS tests but I am guessing that you are referring to the PRAIS I reading, writing, and math. I found them to be fairly easy. The reading is simply reading anywhere from a sentence to a few parapraghs and answering questions, the math was pretty basic and could be done without a calculator, and the writing there was an essay on an assigned topic, and there were questions that required finding errors in sentences.
If you are concerned, there are books available with study tips and practice tests or you can use a search engine and look for practice tests. I think with your SAT score you should fine.
Good Luck!!!

I think it really depends on you and how prepared you are for the test . . . if you were an advanced student in school, and most things just come naturally to you, you have a great chance of passing Praxis I with no problem . . however, if you struggled in school and "simple" things just make no sense, you may have a hard time . . . also, if you have to take Praxis II, this is a VERY difficult test . . some people have passed it on the first try, while others have taken it 10 or more times and still have not passed . . . it really depends on you and how much you study and how well you remember what you studied . . . if you believe in God, I say pray and let Him do the rest . . . that's how I passed!

There are many types of PRAXIS exams. I took one for teaching English in grades 6-12. Each state has set a score you must reach in order to pass. I never took the SAT. But from what I know it is based on your content. The English test is only about English, Chemistry only about Chemistry, etc. For more information, go to www.ets/praxis.org
