name a low temperature exterior paint.?
Most exterior paints have a lower temprature limit of 10 degrees centigrade which is about 50 degrees F. . There are special paints that work at lower temperatures. Name some of them, their manufacturer, 7 where they can bought. Thanks to all answerers.

there are several, the Sherwin Williams one that's good down to 35 f overnight temp duration i think is the name so does Coronado called maximum you can find it at local hardware stores regionally porter paints has one called perminizer it works really good and (trade secret) most bonding primers work down to 35 overnight temp. the overnight temp can't get down past 35 f and the dew point must be 7.5 degrees below daytime temp or the paint will not dry correctly( very important ...the paint will dry out brittle and flake off pretty soon if you don't watch that dew point ) been doing this 30 yrs and there is one more piece of advice these lo-temp paint are not that good for longevity so if you must paint this time of year use a bonding primer and wait till spring this I learned in 30 yrs

Benjamin Moore exterior paint is a low temp paint, down to 35 degrees. they have two products that are very good. one is called SuperSpec, which is available in flat, low sheen, and semi gloss. the other product line is the premium exterior line: MoorGlo, MoorGard, MoorLife. dif names for the 3 different finishes. the main concern when painting in cooler temps is the dew point. if dew settles on the paint before it is dry, it will flatten out, and look uneven. other than that, happy painting!
