Thanks to those who are still trying to help me with my question...?

This goes with the question that I asked earlier,

My speakers are turned on and I do get some sounds but I dont get the "knock" that tells you when someone signed on/off to yahoo messenger. I have the yahoo 8.0 version and when I updated to that version today, I lost my sounds settings. I am currently looking under alerts & sounds in the messenger window. im not having any luck with this though as far as getting my sounds back the way they were before I updated to the 8.0 version.
