    I was a matron of honour for a friend a few years ago, and she was stuck for idea's too.

    What she did, was give us each a gift voucher, to have a full skin care treatment, incudling make up. This was gratefully accepted, by myself and the bridesmaids.

    Gift idea's for the bridesmaids;

    Gift voucher for dinner for two

    Gift voucher for a massage

    Gift voucher for a facial

    Jewelery

    Pen set (engraved with the bride & grooms names)

    Cute hand bag

    Skin care pack

    Silver/pewter photo frame

    Gift idea's for the groomsmen;

    Hip flask (engraved)

    Pen set (engraved)

    Beer glasses (engraved)

    Pocket knife (mutipurpose type)

    Cuff links

    I have posted a few links for you to check out, hope this helps

    Good luck for the future, my your life be blessed with ever lasting love, friendship and good health.

    Tradition around here is to give the bridesmade's the jewelry they will be wearing in the ceremony, so it, like the dresses, will all be alike. And it has the added bonus of being tasteful, no one can show up wearing something that looks like a door knocker.

    I would give gift baskets, all of them alike, or if you have time, individualize them. A selection of coffees, or teas, with some cookies or candies is nice, if you wish to spend more, have a mug or a saucer and tea cup with the date of your wedding and your names on it. One for the groomsmen is a basket of individual snacks, like nuts, or popcorn, or prezels, put in an inexpensive beer stein from like Wal-mart, and a couple of cans of beer. Another is the same snacks, with a blockbuster card in the middle. If you wish to spend more, get an engraved mug, with your wedding date and names on it, or put the cost of more than one rental on the blockbuster card. Or really load the basket with snacks.

    I got a cute one for Xmas last year. It was an inexpensive flannel lap blanket, a mug, a plate, a selection of teas and cocoa, and some candy. It cost her less than $20 bucks, it came in a really cute basket with a velvet lining.

    You can put in whatever the person likes:a pizza theme, body and bath supplies, a basket of candy, some summer sauasges, cheeses, and crackers.

    Gift certificates for oil changes or car detailing, and buy small cute things to go with each idea, like a pizza cutter and a can of parmesan cheese with the pizza gift certificate, or a chamois and a tire pressure guage with the car detailing. Anything to make the gift certificate more personal, and fill up a basket.

    Best wishes to you, and congrats to the groom!

    Congratulations on your wedding! When I got married I gave my bridesmaids single pearl necklaces (about $25 each, from dahliajewels.com). My husband's groomsmen were given engraved flasks from Things Remembered (about $35 each, including engraving). Decide what you want to give them and then shop around. You'd be surprised what you'd find on the web. Good luck!

    I would suggest keep it traditional and cost effective

    Bridesmaids- necklace or earings for the wedding day

    Groomsmen- Engraved pen, money clip, hip flask

    I personally had engraved pens with "bestmen, best friends" and then the date...

    what I have done is buy glasses ( beer mugs for the men wine glasses for the woman) and get BEST MATE and BEST CHICK on them, I didnt want one girl or man to think they were loved any less. We put the wedding date on the glass also, just so they could rememeber the happiest day of our lives and they helped it all go about!

    it wasnt that unique a gift but practical when I was in my brothers wedding the women got personalized compacts. They were sterling silver with the two mirrors very handy and of course cute because our names were on them, and the men got personalized money clips.

    It is traditional to give a small piece of jewellery to females (eg. Earrings or bracelet) and something personal in glass or silver to the males (eg. engraved beer glass or whiskey shot bottle)

    the stable ones I do, now no longer ones which will properly be trashed. and that i recycle Christmas enjoying cards. I cut back them on the fold, tape them on the kit, then write to who from whom. I by potential of no potential purchase those little concerns, and if its on a bag, punch a hollow in a corner and tie it on with a ribbon or recycled bread bag ties.
