how to be a publisher of my book?

i have written some novels.i am planning to publish it.can someone help me out to be a publisher.is it possible to print my book in a small press a sell it.is there any legal problems if i do that.also please give me the ways to get a publisher who publish books in india.....

    I don't know if there is any in India, but they are common here in the USA.

    My book was published by iUniverse and they did a professional job. It's available on the Internet and at the Barnes & Noble bookstore.

    They handled the copyright, putting it in my name.
