Yes. Until we throw out this two party thing we have going on we will continue to be dissatisfied. Everyone is in this "republican, democrat" box and most people will vote just because you are in a certain party. It sucks we need to vote for people who exhibit some common sense rather than the party line.

I'm sick and tired of the far right and far left choice of leaders America has offered We The People over the lat ump-teen years. Only 15% of the U.S. population is either far left or far right. Our majority hasn't had a voice in many years. The 15% is happy to trade the power back and forth and the benefits that it derives. I'm voting for any politician who's stance is in the center this and next election. Even third party candidates. I usually support whomever our standing president is because I believe that's whats right and that's what makes us a strong nation in the face of foreign diplomacy. I will speak from the center with my votes and pray other Americans follow. No more far left or right for me. Both the far left and far right's stranglehold on power needs to be loosened so the true American voice can be heard throughout the world with a roar. The father of Conservatism Barry Goldwater would be considered a Libertarian in todays times.

This is likely the first time in American history that we have no viable choice in leadership for this country. I think this may be a result of the electorate choosing congressmen to go to Washington and debate social issues like abortion and gay rights. We don't have a leadership that was elected to solve international strife. How can you expect a congress to resolve matters of war when social morality is their forte? You don't hire a plumber to do a mason's job.

Maybe a 3rd party would be best for our future.
BUT, many of those parties are too extreme for most Americans. A new 3rd party would have to be moderate, and be politically right down the middle.

Yes, but I think getting locked into static party platforms rather than just seeking logical answers to problems is also the problem.

Me too but Winston Churchill once said, "Democracy is a bad form of government, BUT it is the best we have"
