Good morning to you! Mercy is putting behind you any wrongs that have been done to you. Not forgetting, but not judging a person on how they've acted toward or treated you in the past. Mercy is an aspect of forgiveness that a lot of people forget. Just because you show a person mercy doesn't mean that you need to trust them not to hurt you again, but that you're willing to be vulnerable to them in spite of how they've acted toward you. My boyfriend shows me mercy on a regualr basis, cuz I can be a real pain in butt sometimes :).

Gods mercy is really the only thing I need. He died on the cross to save me from my sins.

  • mercy, to me means taking pity-empathy-on someone or an animal that u usually wouldnt take time out for.....like god gives us mercy, he doesnt have to let us go on, but he does...or in simpler terms....u save a spider, or bug instead of letting them die/crushing them.....getting down to it i guess showing pity or empathy...
