Christians unite against the darkness?
only joking.
Are you fed up with people posting on yahoo answers who either havent realised the crusades finished ages ago, or think that the crusades were obviously so good they're worth repeating soon?

Those people scare me. They are the type to go on murderous rampages in the name of an imaginary God.

Very few people in the world know or understand what the crusades were, what went on or how they effected history or modern thinking in some lands. Remember North American culture is at most 400 years old and only the last 200 years is truly acknowledged. Many people feel that once you're on this continent what happened else is of no effect or of any importance. I'm not sure if it's ignorance or arrogance.

The first poster was cruel. I'm not fed up with those people, but I often remember these verses:
Matthew 24:12
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
2 Timothy 3:1-7
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Christians persecuted Muslims in the Crusades, so, yeah. Here we go again. Sad isn't it?

Yeah, it all sounds a bit insincere. Then again, that thing George Bush said back in 2002...

Yeah, just ignore them.
Hopefully they'll shut up.
