It depends, if the course that serves alcohol is in better condition than the one that does not serve alcohol, I will go to the one that serves alcohol. Highest scorer after Front 9 buys the 1st round!

Hello,
Me personally I always like to have a drink with my buddies after a round of golf and talk about the round good or bad , I never drink during the round but it really irritates me to see guys out there that can't hold their liquor that are abnoxious and loud and out of control , I wish golf courses would not sell alcohol out on the course but all other drinks and snacks are ok , plus it's nice to see the cartgirl in that short little skirt come around every now and then .
So to answer your question I would like it if the course sold alcohol as long as they did not sell on the course during play .

Alcohol is an essential part of golf. A course without alcohol is a freaking park not a golf course. What no nineteeth hole what's the point?

I don't really care. I don't drink when I play so if they don't serve alcohol on the course it wouldn't bother me. But I also don't care if other people are drinking on the course as long as their drinking doesn't effect play.

Depends why I am there and who I am there with. If I am playing in a competitive tournament then I would prefer to stay sober. But if I am playing with the guys and jsut out for the day....nothing wrong with tossing a couple back

I don't drink so it doens't bother me that beer is not available. What does bother me, however are the drunks in the 4 ball ahead of me who whoop and holler louder and louder with every beer and begin to act like fools and start slowing down the more they drink. Now that bothers me.
As for drinking itself, in the clubhouse, fine, on the course, no.

I don't care -- I usually hit a pub away from the course after I finish my round. If I were "stuck" at the club though (or if my foursome/partner wanted to just hang there), I'd definitely want one that had a beer & wine license at least. :)
