HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL is a failed imitation of the 70´s GREASE movie?

HS Musical has nothing to do w/ Grease. And yes the kids in the movie can really sing... People can slam Disney all they like for being a corporate entertainment mill, producing movie after movie, show after show, actor after singer after dancer BUT one thing that Disney does right is hire talented kids. So many pop stars and actors from both today and yesterday started out as Disney kids, and the reason is Disney hires kids with talent and then gives them work that gets them noticed. So when people go to put down any of Disney's productions or artists I just laugh it off. I don't like everything Disney does either, but Disney usually targets a specific (young or family) audience. And you can't argue with the success that Disney's stars have achieved, unless your just bitter and bitchy... If you like it, you like it. If you don't, watch something else.

Hmmm... I thought it was great. It's not the 70's and the movie Grease actually was so different from the Play that you could say that the movie was a failed imitation of the Play. My kids and I loved it!!!

a million. Grease a. Danny Zuko b. Sandy Olsson c. you are the only that i prefer. Grease is a great action picture and it has some great actors (John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John). The music is the final one they sing on the school carnival.

Get over yourself. That movie is for kids. Obviously you didn't like High School Musical and because others did, you want to slam it.

Now that you have voiced your opinion and it has been noted you can get a life.

it is more of a Grease-like movie of their generation

the movie sends out a powerful message of BEING YOURSELF

i'm both a Grease fan and HSM fan too and i think they are both great

can't wait for the HSM sequel to come out next year

sort of a copy of grease but it was not a failure mabey better than grease

i wouldn't be suprised if the people who made it got these cute kids and made their voices digital so they would sound better. i bet none of those kids can REALLY sing.
