For Battlestar Galactica fans- Ok- Ellen Tigh had to go but did you expect it would be Saul to do it?

The last episode of Battlestar Galactica was so explosive (Exodus pt.2) I actually cheered at several points. When Galactica came out of the sky- when they launched the vipers- when they blew up the guard tower and when Hotdog blew the gate open. What a great plan!!!

When Col. Tigh 'took care' of his wife at the beginning I became convinced what a great actor Michael Hogan is as he lay crying over Ellen's body.

Also- should Starbuck have known better than to believe Leoben Conoy that Casey was her daughter? Boy, that model screws with Starbucks head every time!

I can't get enough of this show!!!!!!

Update:

The jump from the atmosphere back to space was incredible! Who works out the physics to make it look so real?

Update 2:

Sorry Andastra.... didn't mean to ruin it for you but believe me- you'll still love it when you see it!

That ep was really jampacked with stunners--you weren't the only one cheering. And the punches kept coming. I didn't expect Ellen Tigh to go like that....what a set up for that bittersweet exchange at the end: "You did it. You brought them home." "Not all of them."

As for Kacey, I kept thinking that she seemed a bit old to be a child from Kara's stay at the farm, or it had implications for how fast a cylon/human hybrid could grow. And then the reveal...total mindfrak! Excellent! As if Starbuck isn't already conflicted enough! Of course now in hindsight, it totally makes sense why D'anna was more concerned with finding Hera than she was with Kasey.

But wow, I'm still reeling from the scene with Pegasus drawing the fire away from BG. That was almost physically painful to watch. Incredibly gutsy of the writers to do that....but the ramifications of Lee's sacrifice. In an interview with Jamie Bamber he talked about Lee being like Prince Charles--what it must feel like to know that your only chance for career advancement comes with the death of your parent.

And its great that Laura is prez again....will Tom Zarin now be her veep? And how will the crews merge? And how will the people who stayed in the military deal with those who left to settle? (Specifically Kat vs. Starbuck) Not to mention how they deal with the civilian police force!

Thank the gods its only two more days til we find out what happens next.....!

Um, spoilers... Tigh is a cylon... along with Tyrol, Anders, and Tory (the presidents aid). They all start hearing a song (the one that Tigh and Anders heard in the bar in this past episode) and they all gather in the same location when the cylons start attacking the fleet in the next episode. Also, Kara returns next episode and tells Lee that she has been to earth/knows its location and will take the fleet there...
