Well, since the original meaning of the word idiot says 'person who is oblivious to politics and society', there might be some idiots amongst the Serenity fans. But also amongst the non-Serenity fans. I think it's hard to make up someone's mental state by stating his favourite movie, so I won't try.

Jez - I, too, heard the same rumour. This was several months ago, and I then took it upon myself to scientifically test this theory. The results proved my hypothesis that yes, people that dislike Serenity are idiots. So, there you have it.

Obviously some people took offense to your question of idiocy. Their problem, isn't. The series Firefly was excellant, but, never given a real chance. Was it? It took a lot of guts for the producers to stick their necks out on a film after the tv series was cancelled. But, I'm personally glad they did. A great all around movie! Action, humor, a little romance, they even trew in some heart warming and sad. Good Job.

I doubt you seriously believe that a ludricris statement about ones mental state/capacity/and /or potential can be accurately assessed based on the sole criteria of whether or not the individual enjoyed a movie, but it is definately a cute and funny question,thanks for the laugh

The movie was amazing but alot of people didn't give it a chance because they had pre-conceived ideas about it. Doesn't make them idiots. But I truly believe that they are less enlightened, hehe.

well you have to give credits to the directors to come up with movies according to their choice but most of their successful depends on the critics [us].

i don't think your statement is true because it's not possible to like and enjoy every movies that come up...some of them you will like and some of them you will not but being "idiots" has nothing to do with your choice. i think it is a rumor!
