What is there to see and or do in Ensenada? What to avoid?

The down town street has been rejuvenated with a European feeling, outdoor cafes, cafe bistros. Lots of good shopping for handbags, knock-offs of toney designers, like Prada. A trip to the fish market is fun and kids can feed sardines to the sea lions. Excellent shrimp cocktails at the small cafes. The best restaurant is El Rey Sol, a bit pricey but the French pastry is divine. Hussongs is worth a visit if you want to see young foreigners at their worst and buy a Tee shirt next door. Very safe Baja town to visit. Bien Viaje.

* visit the L.A. CETTO vineyards in Valle de Guadalupe

* visit La Bufadora

* visit San Carlos natural thermal spa

* eat famous fish tacos

* take a tour on a horse ride

* plan to visit when it's Carnival (February)

how many days are you planing to stay ?

Hoosongs Bar is famous. The beach is fun. Also, you can rent Mopeds to get around on. It's been a while since I've been there. Avoid being there during a local election. I was there during an election once, and there were truck loads of armed men patroling the city. I couldn't wait to leave.
