Not quite full Marriage rights yet:

But the high court stopped short of fully approving gay marriage in the state, and gave lawmakers 180 days to rewrite marriage laws to either include same-sex couples or create new civil unions.

I do think this is great news, but you do realize we will have to hear about "activist judges" all over again, and another push by Bush for a US constitutional ban on Gay marriage.

Have the same rights but it is still in lawmakers hands to write the law... (still on shaky ground, dont get excited just yet, write your senator, congress and governor and tell him your for gay marriage or civil partnerships) do something for your self and the gay community.

what about intersexes? and trans folks? what about other rights? like right to housing? food? education? I read a very disturbing article the other day, where in san fransisco, a bunch of gay marriage supporters watched from their 18million dollar lgbtq center as working class queers protested the classism that had helped build the exclusive (to upper class) center, they watched, gay people watched, and other queer people were severely beaten up by the cops...

We have a serious case of tunnel vision happening in this country.

We've got marriage, for one more group of people... what about the rest of the people? what about the rest of the rights of citizenship??

The fight for "Gay" marriage has had devistating effects on the fight for "Equal marriage" as well as the struggle for equal human rights...
