I need Instant Messenger help?

my boyfriends computer crashed yesterday and he is back online now but his yahoo IM doesn't work, his email is fine tho. Does anyone know how to correct the IM.

    I would say uninstall it, and than reinstall it, it should be fine

    Have to download it again. Download 7.5 for sure to work. Mess w/Voice ver 8 is good but get earlier version going first.

    Have you tried just uninstalling the client then reinstalling it?
