how to delete URL typed in Address window of Internet explorer?
After opening IE, one has to type URL in Address window e.g. www.yahoo.com, and pressing down arrow shows recent typed URLs. Sometimes if I type some wrong URL that also remains there. How to delete on eparticular URL
I want to delete only one URL. If I clean history all URLs are deleted some of which may be useful and repeatedly used by me. Teach me hot to delete only one URL

On i.e.: Menu tools -> Internet options... -> Clear History.
That's all.

The answer is a registry hack. One false move in the registry renders the whole computer unworkable so BE CAREFUL.
Click start -> Run and type in regedit
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
and delete the one you don't want.
From memory this leaves a blank line though, so it's a little ugly

If you are using Windows Internet Explorer:
Left click on Tools
Left click on Internet Options
Left click on Delete Cookies
Left click on Delete Files
Left click on Clear History
Left click on OK
Close IE then reopen
If you are using Firefox:
Left click on Tools
Left click on Clear Private Data

.
.
Left click on Tools
Left click on Options
Left click on Privacy
Left click on Settings
Check all boxes including Clear private data when closing Firefox
Left click on OK button
Close Firefox then reopen.
If all else fails use My Computer, then go to
Delete cookies from here where username is your account name
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Cookies
and here
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Delete History from here where username is your account name
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\History

go to control panel; click on Internet options; press the button which says clear history;confirm the deletion; your work is done. make sure this is done when no site is open.

if you have been looking at "unsavory" websites the name will also be in the history of IE as well.
id recomend using firefox as a browser, it has the option of clearing all history, the cache and cookies when you exit.
