Leaky System?
Alright guys, here's a question see if you can answer -_^.
I have a 1993 3.0L V6 Lebaron GTS.
Now, when I poor water into the radiator, it leaks out what I thought was to be the back of the motor. So I suspect freeze plugs. But furthur inspection and putting the car up on ramps. We've discovered that the leak is actually coming through between the motor and transmission. Is there a freeze-plug here? Or what would cause this travesty.
Please do not say "Take it to a mechanic"
I'm pretty sure I've got that covered since I've taken my motor and rebuilt myself. And rebuilt half of my other car.
Thank you,
Jesi
Thank you very much Larry =-]

Yes, there is a freeze plug on the engine block behind the tranny.
The transmission will have to be pulled to repair it. This was probably caused by using water, instead of antifreeze and the plug has a hole rusted in it.

yes ,you have freeze plugs behind the flywheel.if its leaking there, you will have to drop the tranny to get to it,and if you have to go that far, then i would change all of them behind it.
