I’m getting 2 Pugs and naming one “Ugly” and the other “Pug”. What do you think of the names?

I just want to be able to say “aren’t those 2 dogs pug-n-ugly”

I'd name one of them "Fug" instead of "Pug" simply so you could say.... "Aren't those 2 dogs Fug-n-Ugly?"

    Ugly is an awsome name.

Pug is a great name 2 but since you have 2 pugs they are both going to be called pug puggles and pugglesy by strangers and this might confuse the little fellows.

It makes a nice sound, pug-n-ugly, but the idea of someone calling you ugly is not so nice, they are supposed to feel beautiful, and ugly just does not do it for a name.

Do you think that when you start to shorten "Ugly" to "Ug" it might get confusing for them? Pug and Ug. Their grasp of English can be a little sketchy.

trite. i know a lot of pugs with "puggy" names like that. think about how old that joke will get really quick, once the joke has worn off, then you are just stuck with dogs with stupid names.

    Excellent idea.

Bear in mind though, that one of your pugs may fall sick occasionally and have to remain at home, thus deserting his fellow canine on walks.

That's why mine have fully independent names: 'Your Momma's A Whore, Yeah I'm Talking To You' can come out with me, even when 'And She's Cheap Too' is feeling indisposed.

I like the names. We got two rabbits a few years ago (my wife's idea), and kept them in a cage in the same room as our dogs (Rhodesian Ridgebacks). The rabbits were quickly named Kibbles and Bits, because the first time I came home and saw them, they were in the cage on the floor being circled by three inquisitive hounds. My wife briefly considered naming them Bits and Pieces, but we agreed that Kibbles and Bits was funnier. I say go for it.

I don't like the "Ugly"...I don't think pugs are ugly, and once you've owned one you won't either!

Thats so cruel to call your dog ugly why not somthing like beauty and the beast these are kinda cute if you want them to have funny names
