    you fill out an application on nbc.com to go to a local audition

    I actually think that they might hold auditions, but I'm not sure of when or where these take place, initially I think they were so overloaded by applicants, that they closed the application side of things and developed a waiting list, when that runs out its possible theyll reopen the normal process.
