I am going to Italy and Greece. Some places??

I'm traveling to Italy and Greece in June and I was just wondering if anyone had any interesting places that I should try and visit?

    Hi,

Try to combine the southern part of Italy with Greece as you then minimize the travel distance (and time).

I have been visiting the southern part of Italy for several years now and have come to love this area very much.

Apulia, Calabria and Sicily are very nice places and there are many things to explore and you are a bit off-track the main tourist streams. This is changing now as many tourists have startet to explore this part of Italy.

Have a look at this site for an Apulia article:

Do also have a look at the links on the right part of the page.

I hope you find some good tip there.

Have a nice trip, you have chosen two fantastic countries as your destination!

in greece, mykonos is FABULOUS!! its so beautiful and i didnt really feel as though i was surrounded by homosexuals. in italy i loved Cinque Terra and Lake Como. Eat lots of feta cheese and lots mozerrella cheese while you are in those 2 countries, its delicious!

You are going to love it all, but be aware that if you are going alone there is a high population of homosexuals in Mikonos. If you are not comfortable around them, avoid the place. I went and had a ball, with my husband.
