For the bottle. Cut a few square or circle holes in the side of the bottle on either side and line bottom of two shapes with duck tape or clay that hardens so it wont cut the feet of birds. Cut high enough so you can fill with bird sead without falling out if bottle swings in the wind. Punch a couple of hole in the cap and hage with a wire, loop through and screw cap back on, and ta da... you have a bird feeder. Paint out side with suncatcher paint or other paint the will not ware off when wet.

The can can be made into a pencil holder or a can with a cardboard/thinboard lid covered with cloth. Decorate as you wish. You can store a collection inside or something small. Use ribbon or cord to make a latch so it wont open when knocked over. Use the same for a hinge for the lid. The sky is the limit or the limit of the store you buy from to decorate as you wish.

    Have fun.

About the only thing that comes to mind in recycled craft (that's use able is) .. water craft.. So take a 40 oz plastic bottle .. cut the top out like a canoe.. Put a couple styx out to the can on one side.. as to be an "outrigger".. Put some water in the can.. 1/4 to 1/3 full.. then plug the hole in the can.. I just thought this up.. but I'll bet it works.

For the bottles, you can attach a doll head (you can get them at craft stores) to the top; it's best to put some sand in the bottom so you'll have some weight, then I make an outfit to fit the bottle. It takes some time and effort but they turn out adorable.

For the cans, you can punch holes in different patterns (now is a good time for Halloween or Fall patterns), paint the cans and put tea lights or candles (depending on the size of the cans) in the bottom. And of course, as usual don't leave these unattended.

    Hope this helps!

a wind chime by cutting vertical line 3.5 inch long and 0.5 inch apart, then bend from the center of the cut out (to you liking) to catch the wind. put a hole in the bottom center for the string long as you want. paint well always add a flare. you can change the level of each can or do solo. I hope that help some.

Cut down a 2 liter soda bottle, decorate the outside, and put a plant in it. Put white glue on the outside of the can, and wind yarn around it to make a pencil holder.

you can make a pencil tin out of the tin can, and you can make a tiara out of a milk bottle! just look up "recycled crafts" or " can crafts" or "bottle crafts" and they'll have everything!

I would decoupage candy or gum wrappers all around the tin. Attach a twisted wire handle.

A milk jug can be made into a bird feeder.

A tuna can can hold a small plant.
