As a matter of fact. the administrator of the hospital I worked for rode with me in the elevator the day before I was to take a day off for an operation. I was a good employee and my rating was in the 90's but they were in the hole and had to downsize. I had just come back from the hospital and was still only half conscious from the anastesia when my mother walked in and all I remember was her saying," You're not going to like this....."While I was laying on the operating table I was getting fired. That bas tard wouldn't even tell me in the elevator. Just stood there smirking. A lot of people lost their jobs because of him. But he got his 2 years later. The corp that owned the hospital saw that he was spending $ like water and when they fired him, he never saw it coming. They waited until he was in his office and sent 2 goons up from headquarters to actually escort him off the grounds. ANd in front of everyone! What comes around goes around!

YES, I HAVE BEEN FIRED AFTER 36 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE. THE REASON I GOT FIRED, IS THAT I HAD FALLEN 30 FEET, ONTO A CONCRETE FLOOR, GOT ALL MESSED UP,AND COULD NOT PERFORM MY OLD JOB, (DOCTOR'S RELEASE INCLUDED RESTRICTIONS TO PERFORM MY DUTIES), AND THE COMPANY SAID THEY HAD NO LIGHT DUTY AND THE RESTRICTIONS MPOSED BY THE DOCTOR, SO THEY TERMINATED ME. YES I DID GET FIRED ON MY DAY OFF.

yep, it means they are too chicken shyt to do it in person. I've also been fired four hours after being hired because someone better quslified walked in. I was fired and she was hired on the spot. Now, doesn't that take the taco?
