Why are K-mart Employees so rude?

Probably because Wal-Mart is kicking their rear!

Target beats both of them though anyday of the week. Better commercials too!

Heh, my guess is you have never worked retail. Work a place long enough and see customers come in where 96% want things that way, so it becomes easy to assume...and you're only wrong 4% of the time....and you might just happen to be that 4% that don't want it that way.

And as far as rude goes....watch how you treat them (tone, word choice, etc) I know pesonally if someone walked up to me and was rude first, I'd be less likely to do my best to be polite and helpful to them....and then some employees just are rude and give a bad rep to the rest of them. It could also be that they spend long days for bad pay trying to keep demanding customers happy while meeting their boss's orders.

K-Mart left Amarillo a few years back and really I was indifferent. The times that I went into their store, if I asked for help, I felt like I was putting someone out. My daughter had a lay away there one Christmas, and the lay away department was so unorganized, that people were having to wait anywhere from 40 minutes to over an hour to get their lay away out.

The people working the lay away dept. staff seemed over worked, untrained, whatever the reason, they were rude to each other as well as the customers.

Hmmm. many of the rudeness i've got experienced became in individual at a place. as quickly as a pizza joint right here in Cali, some lady does no longer take a seat a chum and that i interior the returned- she reported it became for great events. This became 7pm at night and a tuesday night. She became very rude so we left. sometimes being forceful on the telephone is a ought to to get your element for the period of. I had a stupid on line college calling me for extra or less 3 weeks- they might call early interior the morning (time zone distinction and that i assume they have been dumb) then early night- 2 circumstances an afternoon for 3 weeks. i presumed they might get the message after somebody certainly no longer finding out on up, yet ultimately I gave in, picked and reported very rude to the female "provide up calling. i'm no longer involved and that i choose you to take me off this checklist." i actually do no longer be responsive to what the effective-line is, yet we are all diverse too. If that's on the telephone, do no longer take it to individually. In public, that's slightly diverse cuz u do no longer choose to be made to appear as if an fool or belittled for no reason

because they're under paid (minimum wage), 0 customer and store training. k-mart, target, walmart all those stores they only have the employees working part-time so they don't qualify for medical benefits either.

Because they are trying to be like Wal-Mart employees.

I haven't been to Kmart in years, but Wal-Mart employes seem ok.
