There are a variety of moisturising creams for your dog's dry pads. Just visit your local pet store and I'm sure they can help you. Protect-a-Pad is a good product, but don't worry about the name brand, they're almost all the same!

One of mine had the same problem and the vet recommended putting vaseline on them. You can also buy a product called Protect-a-Pad. You do need to be careful though not to soften the pads up too much - they need to stay hard or the dog would feel just you would if you walked barefoot on pavement.

I had the same problem with my Rotweiller. I asked my vet about it and prescribed some cream for me. I don't think you need to go that far...I believe most pet stores carry it. Or you could put booties on your dog when you go for long walks.
