As much as I like the concept of "Rocking the vote", I don't think most "youngsters" -I'm guessing you mean teenagers/young adults- are mature enough or take life seriously enough to be effective. This was one of the dare I say advantages to the old Soviet Communist system: Soviet (I believe it's the same in Cuba and the PRC) kids HAD to get involved and become members of the Young Communists League; it was mandatory (or maybe that's just the way things go in a one party system). Personally, I was active from a young age; my parents never forced their political views on me but they always encouraged me to be aware and also to be an independent thinker in regards to anything (politics, religion, etc)...most kids these days seem too bleedin' apathetic and apolitical for their own good; after all, they inherit the mess ours (and previous) generations have made of the world.

Yes its a must. Do think over, youngsters are the ones who look around things in a new view. People who feel old and responsible are used to the "its usual" kind of a mentallity and go with the ambigious practices around. If youngsters don't get an idea about the government issues it is hard for them to focus in the futures for their own needs from the government.
