any calender ideas?

I'm planning on doing a calendar for gifts for next christmas and i would like to have a picture of my son dressed up for each holiday... here's a list of the holidays i plan to cover (if you can come up with others that would be great too! however, they need to be american and catholic as the majority of the people receiving these calenders will be both - all are catholic). what i'm asking for are ideas on how to dress my son up for each holiday. any help would be greatly appreciated! (backround ideas would be great too - i normally use fabrics)

new year's

MLK jr day

groundhog day

valentine's

president's day

st. patrick's

april fool's

earth day

easter

mother's day

armed forces day

memorial day

flag day

father's day

independance day

labor day

grandparent's day

columbus day

halloween

veteran's day

thanksgiving

bill of rights day

christmas (should i do christmas eve too?)

thank you!

Update:

i'm going to put the lesser holiday pictures on the actual day they take place as opposed to on top, or a collage. i would really appreciate some ideas!

new years - the baby new year

MLK jr day - you can take a pic of him reading a book on MLK or perhaps have a picture of him holding hand with a friend of African American decent.

groundhog day - a groundhog of course

    valentines day - a cupid

    presidents day - Lincoln

St Patricks day - a leprechaun or a 4 leaf clover

April Fools Day - hmmm just a pic of him showing a devilish grin

earthday - he can either be throwing cans into a recycle bin, picking up garbage or be a globe

    easter - obviously a bunny

mothers day - definately a picture of him hugging you

armed forces day - he can be wearing camo and hold a toy gun, if you think that is appropriate

memorial day - he can be a poppy

flag day - dressed up as American flag

Fathers Day - picture of him with dad

independance day - picture of him enjoying fireworks

labor day - picture of him shopping

grandparents day - picture of him with the grandparents

columbus day - dress him up as columbus

    halloween - in his costume

veterans day - maybe get a picture of him shaking hands with a veteran

thanksgiving - dress him up as a turkey or a pilgrim

bill of rights day - don't know

    christmas - santa claus

If you are doing a 12 month calender I guess you wouldn't be using all the holidays unless you are putting more than one on each picture. I myself think that would take away from other pictures. I would stick to the basics myself.

think you need to trim down the holidays, unless you have a 3 year calendar!
